New year, new design
I've finally got around to sorting out the website, and giving it a 2007 makeover. Numerous technical hitches meant I couldn't put up a final travel post and it has been manic since we got back to the UK. Unbelievably we've been back for 2 months already, both back at work and fully settled in. Abingdon is shaping up to be a very nice place to live and we've got the house we're renting sorted out nicely now. We have even got a small backgarden, the bbq arrives next week !
It has been good weather for the most part as well, with the last 2 weeks in particular being very sunny and warm. It hit 24c today and I got to go out on the bike and hit up the trails at Aston Hill. The trails were fantastic, I had a crack at the XC and Red DH run a couple of times. I found out that I'm horrendeously out of practice and totally out of shape. I was completely knackered by the end of it. Only one way to solve that though, ride more!
Beccy is on nights at the moment. She is now working at the John Radcliffe in Oxford, and so far it seems quite good. Apparently a more relaxing quiet ward than Sydney, something which Beccy seems quite glad of ;)
