Homemade curry
We had homemade curry last night. Perhaps not all that impressive but we also made the naan bread and sag aloo ourselves too, and it was delicious. All washed down with a couple of pints of local ale.
We've been busy for the last few weeks on various wedding duties. We went to London a couple of weeks ago and I purchased my suit for the wedding with the help of JC. We went in nearly every store selling suits on Regent and Oxford St before laying out the readies. Last weekend B and I went into Oxford to browse the jewellery stores for a wedding ring. Amazingly we found something we both really liked in the first store we entered and made our decision! Quite a bit easier than I had expected ;)
Next weekend we are off to Ireland for a couple of days to catch up With Brian and Ali who we haven't seen for a long time, which will be nice. Immediately after that I'm off to Munich for 3 days with work, my first bona fide business trip. It will be interesting but I am a bit nervous due to the fact I can't speak a word of their language. Everyone assures me that this will not be a problem though.
This weekend will be a lazy one though, lazing around the house and taking it easy.

Wedding Venue Visit
We have finally visited the venue for our wedding, which is Sussex Barn. It was nice to see the place at long last and get a picture of how it is all going to work. It is a very nice spot, so hopefully it will be a good party. We also paid a visit to the butchers to discuss the hog roast, and saw a hog being roasted! It looked very tasty. Of course we also purchased some supplies to check out the produce and we're happy to report that it was particularly delicious. The services of the local pubs were also investigated, and we can recommend the burger in The Jockey.
Apart from wedding details we checked out the local beaches and spent some time flying kites. I had a go at James' Flexfoil Bullet kite which was a good laugh. The kite was amazingly strong and pulled very hard, my shoulders hurt this morning ;)
