The Mince Pie advert
Many years ago now, when he was young, fresh faced and more gullible than he is now, James Collins starred in a christmas advert for mince pies in our home town rag, the chron. This is the story of what happened to that advert. But first, the ad itself.
Amazing stuff. Of course I could not resist a bit of fun at James' expense, who can after all? So followed a series of cut n paste jobs involving some of our favourite celebs.
The celeb editions
First up, one of our favourite antipodean stars, Miss Holly Valance.
Normally the aussies prefer the meat pie n sauce, but not when James is around, oh no. Then we move to the northern hemisphere, and Canada, for some ex eurovision constestant action.
She's reaching out and James is only too happy to provide. After Celine we stay in Canada, but become rock.
Yes, Bryan does love pie. After rocking with Bryan we head south to cali for a bit of sun. We nearly forgot about him, but not quite. It's the D.R.E.
At which point we get into a fight with a someone who likes cooking pie.
James tried to reprise his mince pie modelling the next year, but after a year of living the rock n roll lifestyle of drink & drugs the shoot didn't go to well. Fortunately we managed to obtain a copy of the test shoot photo before it was destroyed.
